Day 01 :
Journey to the Impenetrable Forest
- Morning pick-up from
Entebbe/Kampala, drive through lush
countryside and farmlands. - Stop at the Equator for photos and
cultural insights. - Lunch en route in Mbarara, then
continue through the terraced highlands. - Arrive Bwindi by evening, check-in at
lodge. - Accommodation: Buhoma Haven Lodge
/ Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge.
Day 02 :
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
- Early breakfast and transfer to park HQ
for trek briefing. - Trek into the dense forest (2–6 hrs).
- Spend one unforgettable hour with the
gorillas. - Afternoon at leisure at lodge, optional
community walk.
Day 03 :
Return to Entebbe/Kampala
- Scenic drive back, lunch stop en route.
- Evening drop-off at hotel/airport.
